Gulya Korolyova (Marionella Vladimirovna Korolyova) was born in Kyiv (Kiev) on September 9, 1922. At the age of 14 she starred in the film "Doch partizana" (1936). Later she took part in some other films. After she had finished the secondary school, she entered the hydro-meliorative institute in Kiev.
