Tom Johnston is not only one of the founding members of The Doobie Brothers, but he also composed many of their greatest hits including: "Listen to The Music", "Rockin Down the Highway", "Long Train Running", "China Grove" and "The Doctor". He played guitar for the group, and was the main lead singer and guitarist.
