LaNecia Edmonds was born and raised in Rhode Island. As a child and teen, she was a multi-talented performer, participating in dance, chorus, cheerleading, band, and color guard. Although she knew at a young age that she wanted to pursue acting, her parents encouraged her to seek out a back-up career plan.
