Mauricio R. Sámano was born in Colima, Mexico. He has done a lot of stage work with Teatro Vision of San Jose, CA., The Western Stage of Salinas, CA., as well as the world renowned El Teatro Campesino founded by the father of Chicano Theater, Luis Valdez, creator of Zoot Suit and La Bamba.
