Mickey Meyer grew up in the small farm town of Clinton, NY attending Clinton Central Schools. While focusing on hockey, and trying to take it to the college level, Meyer attended The Williston Northampton School for two years, graduating in 2003. Upon graduation Meyer left for the University of Colorado at Boulder.
