Richard Sseruwagi (Seruwagi) also known as Richard Kaigoma Sseruwagi was born in a small village called Matanga in Masaka district in Uganda (The pearl of Africa). After college and higher secondary at Kitovu St Henrys, he joined the Abafumi Theatre and Music Academy ran by the late Robert Serumaga.
