Kaya Wittenburg was born in and raised in Brookfield, Wisconsin. After graduating from high school he went on to study psychology and biology at Marquette University in Milwaukee. He worked as an anesthesia technician in the O.R. for the next three years. Kaya then left for Arizona to take a job at a larger hospital in Phoenix.
