Swel Noury was born in Casablanca, Morocco. Son of Hakim Noury, a famous Moroccan film director and Pilar Cazorla, a Spanish producer. Growing up, Swel was always artistic: he loved litterature, movies, music, fashion. In 1996, after high school, Swel went to Paris, France to study finance.
