Sergei Komitski graduated NAFTA (National Academy of Film and Theater Art) in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1979. His Diploma work is the feature 'Sin'. He directed TV shorts and documentaries. A documentary, 'Snowstorm', won Screenplay and Cinematography Awards at Festival in Pamporovo, Bulgaria, 1980.
