Emil Manov graduated Sofia University in Law. He participates in antifascist resistance. He was sentenced life imprisonment. After the end of World War II is an officer in Bulgarian Army, member of Communist Party. In his 1956 novel "An Authentic Case" Emil Manov showcased the terror of Stalinist rule.
