乔恩·韦尔斯凯，John Jeremiah Werskey was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on June 27th, 1980. He was raised just outside Fort Wayne, Indiana near the small town of Grabill. In the early 2000's he attended Indiana-Purdue University of Fort Wayne (IPFW) for a year before transferring to Ball State University in Munice, Indiana in 2002.
